The Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension and Education Center (ENREEC) is located near Mead, Nebraska. ENREEC is not in Ithaca, but is near Mead, NE. And the center is approximately 40 minutes from Lincoln and Omaha. Our mailing address is:

Group Tours and Educational Programs
Requests should be made at least 3-4 weeks in advance, as it takes time to confirm availability of staff/presenters and to allow adequate time to develop the schedule/program. Tours and programs are coordinated based on availability of staff and conducted during regular business days/hours - Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (excluding holidays and during University of Nebraska holiday closedown). Your requested time and date are NOT confirmed until you have received confirmation from ENREEC.

- Requested dates/times - please provide several
- Description of group visiting (such as is this a specific organization, does your group have an ag background, etc.)
- What is the goal of your visit or what would you like your group to learn from the tour?
- Mode of transportation during the tour. Please keep in mind the facility covers 9,600 acres and not a walking tour.
- Please note your level of experience with agriculture
- If there are specific areas that you are interested in visiting, please note what they are
- For international visit requests - please indicate if your group speaks English or if a translator will be travelling with your group
- The ENREEC visitor form will need to be completed prior to visiting ENREEC.

Please note that international visits should work through a department on campus, Nebraska Department of Ag or a travel coordinator regarding coordinating travel and other stops in Nebraska. Current University of Nebraska policies and protocols will be adhered to in regard to preventing transfer of zoonotic disease.
