The University of Nebraska Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension and Education Center (ENREEC) provides an array of educational programs.  ENREEC brings research and education to Nebraskans and people around the nation and the world.

Nebraska Extension programs focus on Livestock Systems, Cropping and Water Systems, Early Childhood, Horticulture, Landscape, and Environmental Systems, Community Vitality Initiative, Food, Nutrition & Health, and 4-H Youth Development.  With Extension staff and faculty located at ENREEC and Lincoln, ENREEC provides the ideal setting for taking research directly to education with in-the field experiences.

A look at who's visiting ENREEC

Over 5,700 people visited ENREEC In 2024 for educational programs and visits. Visitors come from across Nebraska, the United States and from all over the world to learn about research and innovation at ENREEC. States represented in 2024 were: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, Washington D.C.  Globally, visitors were from China, Kenya, Uruguay, Guatemala, Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Japan, and Kazakh.
